Synopsis: Elektra is the daughter of a murdered industrialist, and has been trained as a warrior her entire life. As such, there are times when she is cold and calculating, seeming to be unfeeling.

HISTORY
Family History: Elektra's parents and brother were murdered by her grandfather to squelch the family's affairs not only as entrepreneurs, but as diplomats for all of Greece. She was 11 years old when this happened.
Personal History: Elektra spent all of her life learning martial arts and weapons skills to defend herself from attackers, and was very close with her family for most of her childhood. She spent many years traveling with her brother, who was also an accomplished fighter. When she was 11 years old, she was brought to America following the deaths of her mother and brother. Her father raised her until his murder a short time later, and she lived with a family retainer, Stavros, until she came to Xavier's school.

In-Character Journal Sample: Today was my first day teaching, and I've gotta say, it's a strange thing. I never would have thought twenty years ago that I'd be teaching mutant children how to build electromagnets. Oh, I shouldn't say "children". They're re really not. Hell, one of them was pregnant! She was a really sweet girl, though. And there's this girl I'm going to be tutoring. She calls herself "Rogue", and she's just got the sweetest smile. And she's coming over tonight. Hopefully I don't give her the wrong impression. I'm not sure if I was too forward, inviting her over and everything.

Oh well, it's too late to worry about that now. She'll be here soon. Jack and I are in the shop waiting for her.
In-Character (3rd Person) RP Sample: Thor was bored. Like, really bored. So bored, in fact, that he was hanging out with Throg. The pair made little fighting storm clouds, and then quickly dissipated them, and somehow this was moer amusing to the frog god than it was to the man-god. Of course, all of these things were still new to Throg and the forest creatures. For Thor, this had been a form of simple amusement for millenia.

"O, my brother," he said to Throg, "Thou hast been thoroughly amused by the antics of the humes this past week, yes?"

Throg nodded and bounced enthusiastically. It still hadn't fully mastered the art of speech.

"As was I, though I found myself a part of it. Thou wrought fear into a young girl, who was convinced she was a gypsy woman."
